Ocean Collection
This is a piece I made as either a wall hanging or alternately to lay on a flat surface. It is created as an environment inspired by creatures that inhabit tidal pools and is part of a ceramic series I’ve done called Ocean collections.
This piece is made of shaped, stained and painted layers of wood with hand built ceramic sculptures adhered to different levels reminiscent of mollusks or urchins adhered to rocks.
It is a set of two shapes the larger one measures 9”x12” and the smaller one is 3”x5”.
They both have a hook on the back to easily hang as well as felt feet for placing on a table or shelf.
