About

I am drawn to the tactile world of materials, and clay, paint, cut paper and plywood are a few of my favorites. The Natural world inspires me most, and I find beauty in the imperfections of organic forms. Curiosity fuels my creativity and I relish the process of discovery. The rhythms of the natural world resonate with me, and I find wonder in the ordinary as well as intricacies around me.

Traditional crafts, myths, and scientific observations infuse my work. I honor the lineage of artisans while adding my unique voice to the narrative. I celebrate the contributions of artists, especially women artists and their impact on communities. Their resilience and creativity inspire me.

My creations straddle the line between aesthetics and functionality. Beauty need not be detached from practicality; it can enhance our daily rituals. My art is meant to be accessible. I craft pieces that seamlessly fit into homes, inviting viewers to form personal connections. These objects become companions in everyday life. I relate to the philosophy of folk art Because it often utilizes readily available, humble materials, and posits that art is a fundamental human impulse available to anyone,

My studio, in the woods of Vermont, reflects my connection to the land. Here, I translate inspiration into tangible forms.

While my art school background provides a foundation, I consider myself self-taught in the truest sense. My practice evolves organically

I share more of my process, inspiration and work on Instagram and have an Etsy shop as well, links at top of page
